Said Nurmagomedov Taps Out Cody Stamann In 47 Seconds At UFC 270

Said Nurmagomedov made short work of Cody Stamann tonight on the main card of UFC 270, first catching him with spinning techniques on the feet and then during a scramble following a takedown attempt he was able to lock in a guillotine choke to force a fast finish.

Round One:

Insie leg kick from Nurmagomedov and a punch behind it. Spinning backfist now and then a spinning sidekick to the body for good measure that lands.

Body kick from Nurmagomedov and a missed spinning backfist. Stamann pressing forward though and gets into the clinch and starts working for a takedown.

However, Nurmagomedov tries to sweep him instead and then when that doesn’t quite pay off he locks in a guillotine choke submission and goes to the mat with it, producing a fast tapout from the grimacing Stamann.

Impressive performance from Nurmagomedov, securing the submission finish just 47 seconds into the opening round.
