Episode 9 of The Ultimate Fighter 16 drew an average of 921,000 viewers on FX this past Friday night.
While that’s down a little over a 179,000 viewers from the previous week it’s still a surprisingly decent showing considering that just a few weeks ago the season had slumped to as little as 624,000 viewers, an all-time low.
TUF 15’s ratings continued a downward trajectory all season so no doubt network execs and the UFC will be pleased to see that the show still appears to still have some fight left in it.
Nevertheless, it’s already been confirmed that the next season of TUF will move from it’s current Friday night slot to a Tuesday night where it’s hoped that it will produce significantly better numbers.
