Tito Ortiz Swiftly Submits Alberto El Patron In Combate Americas

At 44-years-old Tito Ortiz got another win under his belt last night in the Combate Americas promotion against a fellow veteran in the 42-year-old MMA / pro-wrestler Alberto El Patron.

El Patron attempted a lateral drop to start the fight, but Ortiz was wise to it and ended up on top.

El Patron tried to escape back to his feet, but when he tried to go for a takedown of his own Ortiz sprawled, got on top and started working ground and pound, before eventually transitioning to a rear-naked choke to force a tapout 3.10mins into the fight.

Afterwards, Ortiz, who is now on a three-fight winning streak that also includes wins over Chael Sonnen and Chuck Liddell, revealed that he still has one fight left on his contract with Combate Americas and may yet fight on after that has been fulfilled.

Meanwhile, Ortiz received a message of congratulations from none other than President Donald Trump after his victory.

“Congratulations to @TitoOrtiz on tonight’s huge WIN, a Great American Patriot!” Trump wrote.

“Thank you very much Mr. President @realDonaldTrump that means the world to me! 🙏🏼🇺🇸 #KAG #MAGA,” Ortiz, a vocal supporter of Trump who once appeared on his ‘The Apprentice’ show, responded.
