The salaries are in for this past Saturday night’s UFC 197 show in Las Vegas and show that Jon Jones was the biggest earner, banking a cool $500,000 for his victory in the main event of the evening.
Long-time fylweight champion Demetrious Johnson also earned a healthy $195,000 payday, and was the only other fighter on the card to earn a six-figure sum on the night.
Next up was Edson Barboza who capped off a great night’s work by banking $88,000, while the man he defeated, former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis was close behind with $80,000.
Meanwhile, defeated flyweight title contender Henry Cejudo and former TUF: Smashes winner Robert Whittaker both trousered $60,000.
Check out all the basic salaries from UFC 197 below, and don’t forget this doesn’t include extras like post-fight bonuses, sponsorship money, etc.
