UFC Fight Night 92 Bonus Awards

Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 92 event in Salt Lake City the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.

Earning ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors was the main event between Yair Rodriguez and Alex Caceres, which provided the creative and unpredictable action that everyone was hoping for, though not a highlight-reel finish, with Rodriguez constant pressure being the most significant factor in earning him a split decision victory.

The first ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus was handed to Poland’s Marcin Tybura who claimed his first win in the UFC in style as he knocked out Viktor Peska early in the second round with a head kick.

The other ‘Performance Of The Night’ award went to Teruto Ishihara who dropped Horacio Gutierrez with a left hand early in the fight, looked to seal the deal with ground and pound and then sealed the knockout victory with another big left as his opponent groggily struggled back to his feet.

Ross launched MMA Insight (previously FightOfTheNight.com) in 2009 as a way to channel his passion for the sport of mixed martial arts. He's since penned countless news stories and live fight reports along with dozens of feature articles as the lead writer for the site, reaching millions of fans in the process.
