Al Iaquinta Vs Paul Felder Goes Down At UFC 218

A lightweight encounter between Al Iaquinta and Paul Felder is set to go down at UFC 218 in Detroit on December 2nd.

Iaquinta has been unsettled in recent times, taking time out to pursue a job in real estate after becoming increasingly vocal about his dissatisfaction with the money he’s been making in the UFC, and that means this will only be his second fight in the past two-and-a-half years.

Nonetheless, Iaquinta’s other fight during that time frame was impressive as he KO’d Diego Sanchez in just 98 seconds back in April, extending his currrent winning streak to five fights and leaving him ranked No.11 at 155lbs.

On the other hand, Felder has been more active, and this will be his third fight in 2017, having already notched up two victories during this calendar year, with a first round TKO victory over Alessandro Ricci being followed up by a first round KO stoppage against Stevie Ray.

Iaquinta Vs Felder joins a UFC 218 fight card that’s set to be headlined by a featherweight title bout between current champion Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar, while Alistair Overeem fights Francis Ngannou at heavyweight, former lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez goes up against Justin Gaethje and Henry Cejudo locks horns with Sergio Pettis.
