Alistair Overeem will return to action against newcomer Sergey Pavlovich at UFC Fight Night 141 in Beijing, China on November 24th.

The 38-year-old Overeem is coming off two tough back-to-back losses in the Octagon, having been brutally KO’d by Francis Ngannou and then TKO’d by Curtis Blaydes in the past year.

Prior to that Overeem had won seven of his last eight fights, but nevertheless, for the first time ‘The Reem’ has began discussing the possibility of retiring, though as things stand he insists he still has a year or two left in him.

For now he’ll be facing off against the debuting Pavlovich, who has been plying his trade for the Fight Nights Global promotion in Russia for some time now and has amassed an undefeated 12-0 record, which suggests that he’s going to be no pushover for Overeem.

Nevertheless, the FNG heavyweight champion has never faced someone of Overeem’s caliber of level of star power, so it should make for an interesting fight.

Overeem and Pavlovich is expected to serve as the co-main event for UFC Fight Night 141, which will mark the promotion’s first ever visit to Beijing and will be headlined by another heavyweight fight – a rematch between Francis Ngannou and Curtis Blaydes.
