Andrea Lee Now Fights Ashlee Evans-Smith At UFC On ESPN 1

After Andrea Lee’s fight with Jessica-Rose Clark fell through on weigh-in day at UFC On FOX 31, the fighter has now been booked to compete against Ashlee Evans-Smith at UFC On ESPN 1 on February 17th in Pheonix, Arizona.

Lee claimed a victory in her UFC debut against Veronica Macedo, taking her current winning streak to five fights and her overall record to 9-2, but since then ‘KGB’ has been in the headlines for more troubling reasons after she fell victim to domestic abuse at the hands of her husband and coach Donny Aaron.

Lee will now be hoping to put that all behind her when she goes up against Evans-Smith, who earned a unanimous decision victory over Bec Rawlings in her last outing back in April.

That was Evans-Smith’s first appearance at flyweight following a 2-3 run at bantamweight in the UFC prior to that, taking her overall record to 6-3 heading into this fight.

Lee Vs Evans-Smith joins a UFC On ESPN 1 card that’s set to feature Jimmie Rivera Vs Aljamain Sterling, Paul Felder Vs James Vick and the debut of Kron Gracie against Alex Caceres, though a main event of the evening has still to be established for the promotions first even on the main ESPN channel.
