Andrea Lee Vs Jessica-Rose Clark Booked For UFC On FOX 31

A fight between flyweights Andrea Lee and Jessica-Rose Clark has been announced for UFC On FOX 31 in Milwaukee on December 15th.

Lee has been in the headlines recently, but unfortunately not for the right reasons, after she suffered a domestic assault at the hands of her husband and coach Donny Aaron – a matter which is still ongoing after police issued a warrant for his arrest, only for him to then go on the run.

It comes at a time when the 29-year-old is just breaking through into the UFC, registering a unanimous decision victory over Veronica Mercado in her Octagon debut back in May, which also earned ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors.

That leaves Lee with an overall 9-2 record, including five wins in a row, so she’ll be looking to put her recent troubles behind her and continue that streak to end the year on a more positive note.

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old Clark is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Jessica Eye back in June. That brought an end to a three-fight winning streak, including decision victories in the UFC against Bec Rawlings and Paige VanZant.

Lee Vs Clark joins a UFC on FOX 31 card that will mark the final event for the promotion on FOX before switching over to their new television deal with ESPN in January of 2019.
