Bellator 281 Results

Bellator 281 took place last night and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event the interim welterweight title was up for grabs and in the end it was Logan Storley who emerged victorious over Michael ‘Venom’ Page via split decision in what proved to be a rather uneventful fight, with Storley using his wrestling to grind out the win.

The co-main event was a different story though as Fabian Edwards KO’d Lyoto Machida mid-way through the first round, wobbling the veteran with a left hook as they broke from the clinch, then landing two more to put him down, with a follow-up punch on the mat rendering him unconscious.

That win pulls Edwards out of a two-fight losing run, while the 43-year-old Machida has now gone four fights in a row without a win.

Before that Kana Watanbe picked up a second round submission win over Denis Kielholtz via a triangle choke, while Paul Daley marked his retirement bout in style with a thunderous right hook KO over Wendell Giacomo in the second round.
