Dana White Confirms UFC Heading Back To Fight Island By September Or October

It’s not long since the UFC left Fight Island after a successful series of events, but it seems Dana White is already planning a return trip with another batch of shows around September or October.

“Everybody wants to go there now. Octagon girls all wanna go there, everybody wants to go! We’re working on fights right now for the next run,” White told TMZ Sports.

“Obviously, a lot of the big international stars will fight over there and s**t, I mean, this next trip over there, I’ll probably end up being there for 5 weeks.”

White then went on to reiterate a statement he made recently in which he claimed that Yas Island in Abu Dhabi (aka Fight Island) is set to become the new destination of choice for big fights.

“I’m telling you right now, Abu Dhabi is gonna become the fight capital of the world! Place is gonna end up being the fight capital of the world. The stuff that we’re doing over there, the infrastructure that’s already been built, the stuff that we’re talking about doing, this place is gonna be a destination.

“If you are a fight fan, everybody wants to come to Fight Island man. You know? Because it’s f**king cool! It’s fun and it’s a really unique experience right now with all this weirdness that’s going on in the world.”
