Dana White Contender Series 33 Results

Three fighters earned a spot in the UFC last night as a result of their victories on Dana White’s Contender Series 33 in Las Vegas.

They included Jordan Williams who picked up the only stoppage of the night in the main event when he TKO’d Gregory Rodrigues midway through the opening round after rocking him with a left hand and then following it up with more blows against the cage.

Co-main event winner Collin Anglin also secured a contract after suffering some moments of adversity against Muhammadjon Naimov, but rose to the occasion and had a big third round in which he was close to stopping his opponent on his way to a unanimous decision victory (29-28, 29-27 x2).

Danyelle Wolf also fought her way into the UFC with a unanimous decision victory over Teneisha Tennant, who showed off her boxing ability in the first round, but after losing ground in the second it was a lengthy submission attempt in the third round that allowed her to impress the judges enough to emerge with her hand raised.
