Dana White Says UFC Planning To Visit More Cities Soon

After a couple of years of largely hosting events at their own small-scale APEX facility in las Vegas the UFC has started to branch out to a few other destinations recently and it seems like there’s plenty more to come as they begin to spread their wings again.

“We’re going to go everywhere,” White told reporters after UFC 273 on Saturday night. “… We’re talking about possibly Boston, back to New York again. We’re looking at Austin. That’s Texas, though. They don’t want to hear Texas. They want to hear another state. They’re tired of Texas and Florida. Salt Lake City, Utah. That’s right, Salt Lake. Seattle, we were looking at. Toronto.”

The UFC also had their first international show beyond just Fight Island recently when they went to London, England with what proved to be a hugely entertaining show, but plans to go to other overseas destinations like Australia and Mexico that had been hosting events in the pre-Covid era are still believed to be off the table, for the time being at least.

That being said, the UFC are heading to Singapore for UFC 275 in June, while White did indicate that they are still eyeing a pre-Covid plan to have a Performance Institute in Mexico and potentially another one in Puerto Rico too at a later date.
