Dana White’s Contender Series 6 Week 5 Results

Dana White Contender Series 6 Week 5 took place last night with all five winners emerging with a UFC contract.

In the main event Eduardo Neves came out swinging, but he soon found himself in trouble after launching into spinning attacks that enabled Michael Parkin to get his back, take him down and apply a rear-naked finish at the 1.57min mark.

Amiran Gogoladze attempted an inverted triangle choke early in the opening round of his fight with Darrius Flowers, but it went badly for him when Flowers opted to heavily slam him into the mat in an attempt to escape and injured his shoulder, forcing him to submit.

Jesus Santos Aguilar’s performance against Erisson Ferreida da Silva was far from flawless, but he put on a battling performance that left his opponent tired and enabled him to seize on his exposed neck midway through the third round for a guillotine choke finish.

Cameron Saaiman became the youngest fighter currently on the UFC roster after the 21-year-old face-planted Josh Wang-Kim with a perfectly placed left hook for a third round highlight-reel KO finish.

Meanwhile, in the first fight of the night Denise Gomes emerged victorious by unanimous decision (30-27 x3) in a hard-fought striking battle.
