Ian Garry continued to impress tonight at UFC On ABC 4 with a first round TKO finish of Daniel Rodriguez that was started off by a clean head kick connection.
Round One:
Garry with a solid body kick to start. Rodriguez paws out with the jab but doesn’t connect.
Garry with another body kick. Jab from Garry and Rodriguez fires off a counter. Again a body kick for Garry.
Missed punch from Rodriguez and Garry lands one of his own. Rodriguez just whiffs past the target with a hook as Garry bobs and weaves against the cage.
Garry steps in with a punch. Now a body kick from him. A head kick from Garry just grazes the target.
Garry ducks a punch and lands a counter-hook. Big head kick for Garry and Rodriguez staggers back and falls to the mat.
Garry following up with heavy ground-and-pound and forces the TKO stoppage at 2.57mins of the first round. impressive win for the still undefeated Garry.
