Ian Garry vs. Michael Page Is Now Official For UFC 303

A previously rumored fight between Ian Garry and Michael ‘Venom’ Page is now official for UFC 303 in Las Vegas on June 29th.

Garry had been repeatedly calling for a fight with former welterweight title contender Colby Covington next, but with ‘Chaos’ seemingly uninterested in the match-up, the Irish star turned his attention to ‘Venom’, who quickly made it clear he was on-board with the idea.

The 26-year-old Garry is a perfect 14-0 in his MMA career so far, and that includes seven wins in a row in the UFC so far.

Along the way Garry as beaten the likes of Daniel Rodriguez, Neil Magny and most recently Geoff Neal back in February to take the No.7 spot on the 170lb rankings.

As for the 37-year-old Page, he only recently joined the UFC after a long stint as a star in the Bellator promotion, where he fought for the majority of his career so far, amassing a pro-record of 21-2 along the way.

The talented striker has since added another win to that record in his UFC debut, convincingly beating Kevin Holland by unanimous decision at UFC 299 in March.

Garry vs. Page will join the main card of a UFC 303 event that will be headlined by the return of Conor McGregor against Michael Chandler, with Jamahal Hill vs. Carlos Ulberg serving as the co-main event.
