Jon Jones Reaches Plea Deal Regarding Cocktail Waitress Case

Jon Jones has come to a plea deal regarding complaints by a cocktail waitress that he had sexually harrassed her at a strip club earlier this year.

Originally Jones had been accused of battery after harrassing the waitress at TD’s Eubank Showcase and reportedly slapping her on her private parts.

In the end the 32-year-old has plead no-contest to disorderly conduct and received a 90-day deferred sentence and unsupervised probation, during which he is forbidden to take drugs or alcohol and can’t get into any more legal trouble.

In addition Jones is not allowed to return to the strip club and has to pay the court fees.

Now Jones will be looking to yet again attempt to put his legal troubles behind him and try to refocus on his fighting career.

It comes at a time when Jones remains the UFC’s light-heavyweight champion, having won the vacant title back with a TKO victory against Alexander Gustafsson, followed by a decision victory over Anthony Smith and then another successful title defense against Thiago Santos.

At this stage it remains to be seen who he will lock horns with next, with a trilogy encounter against Daniel Cormier appearing to be the most likely option, though in recent times Jones has also been entertaning the idea of fights with the likes of Israel Adesanya and Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson.
