Justin Tafa made short work of Austen Lane in their rematch tonight at UFC 293, TKO’ing him with a left hook and follow-up ground-and-pound.
Round One:
Lane with a jab to start. Now an inside leg kick. Lane reaches out with a punch and grazes Tafa’s eye. Remember that the last fight between these two a few months ago lasted less than 30 seconds due to an eyepoke!
Thankfully Tafa is ok after a brief stoppage. Lane with a series of leg kicks. Tafa lands a solid punch. Hook kick attempt from Lane.
Right hand from Lane, but then Tafa blasts him with a left ook in response that sinks him to the canvas. Tafa just stares at his grounded opponent for a moment and then drops down while unleashing vicious ground-and-pound that leads to a TKO finish at the 82 second mark of the first round.
