Khabib Nurmagomedov and Artem Lobov became embroiled in a heated argument yesterday at a hotel lobby that was caught on video.
The footage sees the two fighters arguing in Russian as their entourages attempt to keep them apart so the disagreement wouldn’t become physical and jeopardize their fights this coming Saturday night in Brooklyn, New York.
It’s not clear what caused the confrontation in the first place, though no doubt it had something to do with the fact that Lobov is a well known teammate of Nurmagomedov’s rival Conor McGregor.
Both fighters have other matters to attend to this week though, with Nurmagomedov set to fight for the lightweight title against late replacement Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 223, while Lobov will go up against Alex Caceres.
