Khabib Nurmagomedov And Conor McGregor Go At Each Other On Social Media

Conor McGregor may allegedly be retired, but it seems his rivalrly with Khabib Nurmagomedov still burns brightly.

McGregor couldn’t resist having a go at the UFC lightweight champion this past weekend after seeing a post from ‘The Eagle’ referencing his title win last year.

“Great feeling, after 5 championships rounds,” Nurmagomedov wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of him walking out the cage after his fifth round victory over Al Iaquinta back in April of last year. “See you soon my fans, very soon. And thank you all you guys, for support all these years.”

“You got your money took and your brothers eye socket shook when you fought me you little rat,” McGregor then wrote to Nurmagomedov on Twitter. “Viva Las Vegas baby the gaf always wins. Big stomper party in the Wynn coming soon! @ProperWhiskey @WynnLasVegas #ad”

However, it was Nurmagomedov who weighed in with the last words on the matter.

“@TheNotoriousMMA money comes and goes, the honor that you lost that evening will never return, live with it,” Nurmagomedov blasted back. “Finish career in mma, but start career on twitter? #twitterWarrior”

McGregor recently claimed to be hanging up his gloves for good, but many have seen this as a ploy to try and get the UFC to agree to his financial demands ahead of his next fight in the promotion.
