Khabib Nurmagomedov Takes Aim At Conor McGregor And His Fans Irish Roots

During yesterday’s media workouts Khabib Nurmagomedov was taunted by Conor McGregor’s fans, many of whom were Irish, but afterwards the lightweight champion fired back at them and their hero.

“I have question for Ireland. What about your language? What about your language?” Nurmagomedov asked on the mic. “What about Irish language? What’s wrong with your language? You guys change? What about your language? Please, can somebody give me answer? What about Ireland language? You guys miss England right now? You guys change your language? Give me answer, someone, if you can. It’s very interesting.”

Nurmagomedov then got even more personal as he put McGregor firmly in his sights.

“This guy talks (about) them fighting against English but his grandfather, Christopher McGregor was with the English navy. And he killed your people. And now you guys support him. I’m gonna change this Saturday night.”

Nurmagomedov also promised McGregor’s still booing fans that the hostilities between them wouldn’t last long.

“In three days, you’re gonna like me,” Nurmagomedov told them. “You’re gonna like me in three days.”

No doubt McGregor will has something to say about all this when he comes face-to-face again with Nurmagomedov later today at the pre-fight press conference.
