Marc Diakiese To Fight Damir Hadzovic At UFC Fight Night 211

Marc Diakiese as just signed a new four-fight deal with the UFC and his first bout will be against Damir Hadzovic at UFC Fight Night 211 in London, England on July 23rd.

The 29-year-old Diakiese has so far delivered a mixed-bag of results in the UFC, having gone 5-5 over the past six years since joining the promotion in 2016.

He is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Viaschlev Borschev last time out, but prior to that he’d suffered a unanimous decision defeat against Rafael Fiziev followed by a submission loss to Rafael Alves.

Now he’ll be on home soil as he goes up against the 35-year-old Hadzovic, who has a very similar record, having gone 4-4 in the UFC over a six-year period.

Like Diakiese he is coming off a win, beating Yancy Medeiros on the scorecards back in June of last year, but had suffered losses to Christos Giagos and Renato Moicano before that.

Diakiese vs. Hadzovic takes place on a UFC Fight Night 211 card that will be headlined by Mark Aspinall vs. Curtis Blaydes, while Darren Till fights Jack Hermansson, Alexander Gustafsson goes up against Nikita Krylov and Paul Craig locks horns with Volkan Oezdemir.
