Michael Bisping Describes Being Robbed Twice, Stranded At Sea And Saving Lives In Hawaii

On the latest episode of his ‘Believe You Me’ podcast, UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping detailed a rather eventful vacation he had with his family in Hawaii last week.

Bisping said that after hiking around waterfalls in Maui, he returned to his rental vehicle to discover it had been broken into, with his wife’s bag, his wallet including money and credit cards, and their clothes among the belongings that had been stolen.

To add insult to injury, the following day the same car was broken into again, though this time the culprits only made off with a pair of Bisping’s sneakers.

After that the Bisping’s met up with his former TUF Season 3 housemate Kendall Grove and his family, and they decided to head out on Kayaks and paddle boards to a nearby cliffside.

However, after spending some time there the winds started to pick up and they decided to head back to shore, but for Bisping and his 14-year-old daughter that proved to be more challenging than they’d anticipated.

Bisping had to climb down off their paddle board and attempt to swim back, but wasn’t able to make any headway and they began to head further out to sea.

If that wasn’t bad enough, Bisping then became aware of two elderly women who were calling out for help, having also been caught out by the high winds while in the water, so he swam over and brought them back to the paddle board.

In the end the group were rescued by life guards, but by the sounds of things, Bisping’s not going to be in a hurry to return to Hawaii any time soon!
