Movsar Evloev And Bryce Mitchell Trying To Book Fight For The Third Time

A fight between Movsar Evloev and Bryce Mitchell has already fell through twice, but nonetheless it seems that the two are still eager to lock horns with each other.

The two were originally supposed to fight in November of last year, but Evloev had to withdraw due to an injury, then a rebooking for May also fell through due to Mitchell being injured.

Now Evloev has taken the bull by the horns and called out his opponent in an attempt to make the fight happen at the third attempt.

“So when are you gonna be ready to go @ThugnastyMMA?” Evloev wrote on Twitter. “I heard you said it won’t take long, otherwise just publicly admit you want nothing to do with me.”

Mitchell has since responded, indicating that he’s more than up for the fight, and even suggested a potential date for the showdown.

“Hey Movsar, I hear you still want to fight me,” Mitchell replied. “That’s good because I’m looking for somebody to fight. How about Aug. 5 in Nashville? Until then, I’ve got bigger fish to fry than you buddy.”

The 29-year-old Evloev is currently undefeated in his 17-fight career and has racked up seven wins in a row in the UFC, leaving him ranked No.10 in the division, while the 28-year-old Mitchell started his UFC run with six victories in a row, but lost by submission to Ilia Topuria last time out to drop to No.11 in the rankings.
