Paul Craig Submits Gadzhimurad Antigulov In Opening Round At UFC On ESPN 14

Paul Craig is best known for his late submission finishes, but tonight at UFC On ESPN 14 he got the job done early with a first round triangle choke finish against Gadzhimurad Antigulov.

Round One:

Craig with a straight punch that comes up short. Now a body kick. Antigulov moves into range with an uppercut and then goes for a takedown.

Craig goes down to the mat willingly looking for a submission, but nothing doing for now. Butterfly hooks from Craig to keep Antigulov at bay. Craig has a triangle choke attempt already. Antigulov doesn’t seem troubled for now as he drops down some heavy ground and pound.

Craig bleeding now, but he’s not phased and is instead working to improve this triangle choke and he gets it locked up tight and Antigulov has major problems here. He’s not getting out of this and has to tap out at 2.06mins of the opening round.
