A lightweight fight between Paul Felder and James Vick has been set for UFC Fight Night 133 in Boise, Idaho on July 14th.
The 34-year-old Felder enjoyed his best year to date in the UFC in 2017, racking up three stoppage victories in a row – TKO’ing Alessandro Ricci, knocking out Stevie Ray and then TKO’ing Charles Oliveira.
As a result of that, Felder now holds an overall 7-3 record during his time in the UFC and currently holds down the No.14 spot on the highly competitive lightweight rankings.
Vick is also in-form heading into this match-up, with the 31-year-old currently enjoying a four-fight winning streak that’s included a submission win over Abel Trujillo, TKO’s over Polo Reyes and Joseph Duffy, plus a unanimous decision victory against Santiago Ponzinibbio.
Aside from a KO loss to Beneil Dariush back in 2016, Vick has won all 13 of his other fights to date and currently sits just outside of the top 10 lightweight rankings at No.11.
Felder Vs Vicks joins a UFC Fight Night 133 line-up that’s also expected to feature a heavyweight bout between Junior dos Santos and Blagoy Ivanov, plus Cat Zingano Vs Marion Reneau, Liz Carmouche Vs Jennifer Maia and ‘Super’ Sage Northcutt taking on Zak Ottow.
