Rumors Of Conor McGregor Being KO’d In Training Are Shot Down

For the past few days rumors have been circulating that Conor McGregor was KO’d in sparring while preparing for his upcoming megafight with Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas on August 26th, but is there any truth to it?

It all began when professional boxer Jessie Vargas stated during a video interview with villainfy Media that McGregor had, “been knocked out in sparring already.”

Vargas went on to claim that it was fellow boxer Brandon Rios who had slept the superstar.

“I heard they tried Brandon Rios but he knocked out Conor, so they had to push him away,” Vargas said.

However, Rios himself has since shot down that rumor as being entirely false.

“No man,” Rios told reporter Elie Seckbach. “Vargas is f*****g about. I never met that motherf****r. I know nothing about him, I’ve never met that motherf****r but I’d like to spar him,”

It’s since been claimed that it was actually 15-11 MMA fighter Bradley Wheeler who KO’d McGregor, but that has also proven to be false as he has never spearred with ‘The Notorious’ either, and has actually been out of action injured since June.

So, overall it appears that this was all just rumor and conjecture rather than anything based on actual facts.
