Steve Bosse Out Of Friday’s TUF 25 Finale; Late Replacement Drafted In

Steve Bosse

Former Canadian hockey enforcer Steve Bosse has had to pull out of his fight with Jared Cannonier at the TUF 25 Finale on Friday night due to an as yet undisclosed injury.

That’s left the UFC scrambling for a late replacement to step in to keep Cannonier on the main card, and that’s lead to newcomer Nick Roehrick stepping up to the plate.

The 29-year-old Roehrick’s record stands at a perfect 7-0 and he’s fought once for Legacy FC in the past, though his last outing was back in April for the Combat Night promotion, winning by TKO in the first round.

As for Cannonier, he is 9-2 in his professional career to date, including his current 2-2 stint in the Octagon.

The 33-year-old is looking to bounce back after losing by unanimous decision to Glover Teixeira last time out, breaking a two-fight winning streak over Cyril Asker and Ion Cutelaba.

With Cannonier Vs Roehrick now confirmed, the TUF 25 Finale fight card proceeds with a main event between Michael Johnson and Justin Gaethje, a co-main event starring Julianna Lima and Tecia Torres, plus Elias Theodorou Vs Brad Tavares and Gray Maynard Vs Teruto Ishihara also featuring on the main card at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas just a day prior to UFC 213 at the same venue.
