Terrence McKinney In On Short Notice To Fight Mike Breeden At UFC On ESPN 51

Lando Vannata is out of his fight with Mike Breeden at UFC On ESPN 51 next weekend in Las Vegas and that’s paved the way for Terrence McKinney to step in as a late replacement.

The short-notice fight will come less than a month after the 28-year-old McKinney last fought, losing by submission to Nazim Sadykhov at UFC On ESPN 49.

That was McKinney’s second loss in a row, having also been KO’d by Ismael Bonfin back in January, leaving McKinney’s overall UFC record now standing at 3-3 during his two-year stint in the promotion so far.

Now he’ll try to get back on track against Breeden, who has yet to taste victory in the UFC, having lost to Alexander Hernandez and Natan Levy in his two fights so far, meaning that he really needs this victory to ensure he remains on the roster.

McKinney vs. Breeden features on a UFC On ESPN 51 card that will be headlined by a welterweight fight between Vicente Luque and Rafael dos Anjos, while Khalil Rountree Jr fights Chris Daukaus in the co-main event.
