The main card fighter salaries for the end-of-year UFC 219 event have now been released and show that Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino was by far and away the biggest earner on the card, banking $500,000 for her successful title defense.
That’s a big step up for the Brazilian star, who was previously on a flat $200,000 fee per fight before renogotiating her contract a few months ago.
Next up was her title challenger Holly Holm, who took home $300,000 for her spirited performance against the dominant champion.
Following on from that, Khabib Nurmagomedov thoroughly earned his $160,000 payday, while his opponent Edson Barboza cashed in $150,000 and Neil Magny trousered $140,000.
Despite his loss on the night, Carlos Condit also earned a six-figure sum, with his show money ensuring he bolstered his bank account by $115,000.
