UFC Fighter Desmond Green Involved In Car Crash That Left Two People Dead

UFC fighter Desmond Green has been involved in a serious car crash in Florida that left two people dead this past weekend.

The 28-year-old Green was reportedly driving his Dodge Durango in Davie, Florida early on Saturday morning when he lost control of his vehicle and veered into a tractor-trailer, causing three other vehicles to subsequently crash.

Two female passengers in a Toyota Yaris, 67-year-old Emelina Morfa and 76-year-old Emma Suarez Hernandez, were reported to have been killed in the crash, while The driver of the vehcile, 67-year-old Mily Vita-Vega, was also seriously injured.

Meanwhile, Green is believed to have suffered only minor injuries in the crash, and as yet has not been charged in relation to the incident, though an investigation is still ongoing.

Green is a former Bellator and Titan FC fighter who joined the UFC in early 2017 and has so far racked up a 2-2 record in the Octagon, with his latest outing being a unanimous decision victory over Gleison Tibau at UFC Fight Night 131 in June.
