UFC On ESPN 42 takes place this coming Saturday night in Orlando, Florida and we’ve got the full fight card for you below.
In the main event of the evening’s there’s welterweight action as the 6th ranked Stephen Thompson tries to shake off two losses in a row when he goes up against the unranked Kevin Holland, who lost to Khamzat Chimaev by a first round submission in an extremely short notice fight back in September.
In the co-main event there’s more 170lb action as former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos moves back up to welterweight following a KO loss last time out to face Bryan Barberena, who is on a three-fight winning streak after beating veteran stars like Matt Brown and Robbie Lawler.
In the heavyweight division, Tai Tuivasa will look to bounce back from a KO loss to Cyril Gane last time out when he faces Sergei Pavlovich, who has won his last fights via strikes in the first round, including TKO’ing Derrick Lewis last time out.
At flyweight, Matheus Nicolau has won all three of his UFC fights to date as he prepares to lock horns with Matt Schnell, who has a win, a loss and a no-contest to show for his last three Octagon outings.
Alternating between wins and losses over the past few years, Jack Hermansson now takes on a short-notice replacement in Roman Dolidze, who has won five of his six fights in the promotion.
Opening up the main card will be a middleweight fight between Eryk Anders, who is coming of back-to-back losses, and Kyle Daukaus, who suffered a KO loss to fellow main card competitor Roman Dolidze in his last fight.
