UFC’s Youngest Fighter Raul Rosas Jr To Fight Christian Rodriguez At UFC 287

Rising teenage prospect Raul Rosas Jr will fight Christian Rodriguez at UFC 287 on April 8th at a destination still to be confirmed at this stage.

The 18-year-old Rosas Jr first emerged as an undefeated fighter on the Contender Series when he was still only 17, and impressed with his advanced skill-set for his age en-route to a unanimous decision victory over Mando Gutierrez to book his place on the UFC roster.

Rosas Jr then officially became the youngest fighter to ever compete in the Octagon when he made is debut back in December, earning a first round submission win over Jay Perrin.

Now Rosas Jr will look to continue to build momentum against the 25-year-old Rodriguez, who suffered a unanimous decision loss in his promotional debut early last year, but has since rebounded with a first round anaconda choke finish against Joshua Weems in October.

Rosas Jr vs. Rodriguez joins a UFC 287 fight card that doesn’t yet have a headliner attached to it, but will also feature the likes of Rob Font vs. Adrian Yanez and Michelle Waterson vs. Luana Pinheiro.
