Urijah Faber Confirms Comeback In New Interview With Dan Hardy

The recently-turned 40-year-old Urijah Faber has confirmed in a new interview with Dan Hardy that he’s coming back out of retirement to fight again in the UFC soon.

“I just accepted a fight yesterday, I don’t know if that’s supposed to be put out yet,” Faber revealed during the interview.

Faber called time on his career some two-and-a-half years ago after a victory over Brad Pickett brought an end to a two-fight losing run, but he doesn’t have any doubts that he’s still got what it takes to step back into the Octagon.

“Looking at today’s landscape, I just know that I can compete easily. I’ve stayed in great shape. It sounds like fun and the reason I stopped is because I wanted to. The reason I’m coming back is because I decided I want to.”

At this stage there’s no confirmation on who Faber will be fighting, but it is known that he’s been targeting the UFC Fight Night 155 event in his own backyard of Sacramento, California on July 13th for his return.
