Former boxing champion turned MMA fighter Holly Holm is the UFC’s latest addition to their female bantamweight division and you can watch a new interview with her on the latest edition of the ‘Inside MMA’ show on AXS TV below.
Holm says she’s currently recovering from a broken arm, but hopes to be able to fight in the Fall – more than likely late October – early November.
She’s going to let the UFC decide who she should fight, but she sums up her own preference as, “you don’t want to be thrown to the wolves, but I definitely want to take challenges.”
That suggests she doesn’t want to fight current champion Ronda Rousey right away, but when asked directly about it she doesn’t entirely rule out the possibility.
“If I didn’t want that fight, why would I be in this sport? If you don’t want to make it to the top, you shouldn’t be doing this. Absolutely that would be a fight I’d want to look into.”
