Jon Jones has certainly been busy lately, from getting arrested for drunk driving during the coronavirus shutdown, to getting in a public feud with Dana White over money and subsequently threatening to vacate his title, and now being filmed stopping vandals from doing graffiti in Albuquerque.
In a video posted by the light-heavyweight champion, Jones is seen demanding that the teenage vandals hand over their spray cans to him, which they wisely agreed to do without risking causing any trouble with the fired-up MMA fighter.
The teenagers were claiming to have been protesting the death of George Floyd, but afterwards Jones questioned whether the hot-button issue has now just become an excuse for lawlessness in cities around America.
“Is this sh*t even about George Floyd anymore?!?” Jones asked in frustration on Instagram alongside the video clip. “Why the f*ck are you punk ass teenagers destroying our cities!?? As a young black man trust me I’m frustrated as well but this is not the way, we are starting to make a bad situation worse. If you really got love for your city (505), protect your shit. All you old heads need to speak up, call your young family members and tell them to come home tonight.”
