A robber made a big mistake when he attempted to break into UFC star Jon Jones fleet of vehicles outside his home at the weekend.
CCTV footage showed the man breaking into one of the parked cars in the former light-heavyweight champion’s driveway as a dog barks from the home, then heading over to the fighter’s pick-up truck, before Jones suddenly opened the garage door and proceeded to chase him at full speed while wielding a loaded shotgun.
“Ended up tapping on this guys driver side window with the muzzle of my shotgun last night,” Jones wrote on instagram alongside the video. “Next time you try to rob someone, make sure you’re fast enough to out run them. He’s lucky I’m smart enough to not shoot a man while he’s retreating. People I know times are getting hard but your life isn’t worth a few material possessions. What are your thoughts on this video, what would you have done differently?”
We can only imagine how terrified the robber was as he fled from the MMA legend, whose every limb could be considered a lethal weapon, yet had also brought a shotgun along for good measure!
