Benoit Saint Denis picked up a big highlight-reel win over Matt Frevola tonight at UFC 295, KO’ing him with a head kick just 91 seconds into the fight.
Round One:
Body kick from Saint Denis to start. Now one from Frevola. Inside leg kick for BSD as Frevola looks to punch.
Saint Denis pressures forward and lands a body kick. One lands for Frevola now. BSD with another powerful body kick.
They go to the mat and there’s a scramble for position as they gradually work back to the feet. Frevola immediately lands a big takedown, slamming BSD to the canvas. They don’t stay there for long though and are back up on the feet in the clinch.
Frevola with a knee and then back away, but Saint Denis goes after him and unleashes a big head kick that connects and sends him slumping to the mat, with a follow-up punch on the mat sealing a knockout victory at 91 seconds of the first round.
