A heavyweight tilt between Stefan Struve and Stipe Miocic will headline the UFC’s return to the UK for ‘UFC On Fuel TV 5’ on September 29th.
The fight was made official last night and Struve in particular appeared to be delighted to have the chance to fight in Europe.

It’s not exactly Struve’s own backyard given that he’s Dutch, but it certainly makes a change from long flights over to the U.S that he’s been accustomed to of late, though he’s fought in both the UK and Germany before early in his UFC career.
Struve carries a three-fight winning streak into the fight, while Miocic, who also has European connections as he’s of Croatian descent, has a perfect 3-0 record since joining the UFC last year.
As with ‘UFC On Fuel TV 2’ in Sweden earlier in the year, the main card of the UK show will be broadcast live in the U.S in the afternoon.
