Strikeforce returns this Saturday night with a major female fight headlining the show as Ronda Rousey makes her first 135lb title defense against Sarah Kaufman who’s eager to take back the belt that she once held.
Another former champ Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza co-headines the card as he attempts to take another step towards the middleweight title by defeating Derek Brunson who was unbeaten in nine pro-fights up until June when he dropped a split decision to Kendall Grove at ShoFight 20.
Meanwhile, welterweight notables Roger Bowling and Tarec Saffiedine will square off in the cage with both hoping to make a statement that will help propel them into the title mix in a division that’s a little thin on genuine contenders for Nate Marquadt’s title at this moment in time.
Finally rounding off the main we have middleweight action with Lumumba Sayers taking on Anthony Smith, and a light-heavyweight scrap starring T.J Cook and Ovince St.Preux.
