Tito Ortiz Launches New Management Company With Cris ‘Cyborg’ Santos His First Big Client

UFC legend Tito Ortiz has no intentions of stepping out of the spotlight now that he’s retired from the sport, a point that was reaffirmed today when he announced the launch of his new management company ‘Primetime 360 Entertainment & Sports Management Inc.’

Along with his business partner, George Prajin, an attorney and manager, Ortiz has big plans for the company which aims to look after not only MMA fighters, but also athletes from other sports along with artists from the music, television and film industry.

The first big signing to the company is former Strikeforce champion Cris ‘Cyborg’ Santos, one of the world’s leading female mixed martial artists.

‘Cyborg’ has had a bad 2012 so far after being suspended from the sport for a year after testing positive for steroids, but she’s still seen as perhaps the only fighter who can give rising superstar Ronda Rousey a real challenge which makes her a hot commodity and Ortiz believes he can have a positive influence on her career going forward.

“We are helping her deal with her current setbacks and getting her ready for the next stage in her career,” Ortiz tells LatinHeatEntertainment. “We all make mistakes. During the last 15 years competing at the highest level in the sport, I have made some myself. My job is to make sure she doesn’t make anymore. I plan on being a positive influence on Cris.

“I will help her develop into not just the best fighter in the world, but also a successful business person out of the cage.”

I have a sneaky feeling that Dana White will already be dreading the thought of having to deal with fighters who sign up to Ortiz’s new management company in the future given how they continually butted heads over business matters throughout the course of his career!
