Mark Hunt Given Visa; Fight With Junior Dos Santos Will Happen

There’s good news today as Mark Hunt has finally got his Visa issues sorted out and so his fight with Junior Dos Santos at UFC 160 this coming weekend will go ahead as planned.

Hunt had been prevented from traveling to the U.S from his native New Zealand a couple of weeks ago due to an altercation that got him in trouble with the law a decade ago, but it’s all been smoothed over now.

Hunt was believed to have boarded a plane to travel to Las Vegas last night, no doubt relieved to have the situation sorted out, though the fact that he’s had to deal with this unforseen distraction and now has far less time on the ground in the U.S before his fight must be a concern.

This fight, which will serve as the evening’s co-main event, has major implications for both men as JDS will be granted a title shot if he wins, while if Hunt manages to produce an upset he too could find himself in with a real chance of fighting for the belt.
