Heavyweights Daniel Cormier and Roy Nelson are all set to scrap at UFC 166 on October 19th in Houston, Texas.
The fight isn’t official yet, but Dana White is believed to be interested in putting together once Nelson puts pen to paper on a new fight deal with the promotion.
Former Strikeforce heavyweight grand-prix winner Cormier got off to a winning start in his UFC debut earlier this year, albeit in somewhat lackluster fashion against Frank Mir.
Nelson didn’t look at his best either as he dropped a decision to Stipe Miocic, breaking a three-fight winning streak.
UFC 166 is set to be headlined by another heavyweight fight as Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos meet in the Octagon for a third time.
