‘Rampage’ hopes to make his Bellator debut later this year and has hinted that he may be looking to move up to fight in the promotion’s heavyweight division.
The 35 year-old left the UFC earlier this year after a three fight losing streak, claiming he was unhappy with the way he was being treated by the sport’s leading organization. The fact that the UFC wanted Reebok to pay them a fee in order for him to be allowed to wear their apparel for his last fight was one of a number of issues that is believed to have been troubling him.
The UFC later explained that all sponsors had to go through the same process, and that the same rules applied in many other leading sports in this day and age.
