Five fights have been announced for UFC Fight Night 46 in Dublin, Ireland on July 19th.
First up, the co-main event of the card has now been set with Sweden’s Gunnar Nelson looking to build on his three victories so far in the UFC when he takes on Ryan LaFlare who’s notched up four victories inside the Octagon to date.
Brad ‘One Punch’ Pickett and Ian ‘Uncle Creepy’ McCall will also square off on the card after their initial fight at UFC Fight Night 37 in London earlier in the year was scrapped due to an injury.
There’ll also be light-heavyweight action as Tom Lawlor takes on Ilir Latifi, with Cody Donovan Vs Nikita Krylov and Phil Harris Vs Neil Seery completing the current line-up for the show.
So far no main event has been announced for the Dublin show and there’s good reason for that as it’s believed that the UFC would like to have Irish star Conor McGregor headline the event, but it all depends on whether he recovers from a serious knee injury in time.
If he is fit in time then the outspoken Irishman won’t be short of potential opponents, though an ongoing war of words with Cole Miller leaves him being tipped as the frontrunner in the UFC’s mind at this moment in time.
