WSOF 17 Results

WSOF 17 took place last night and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event of the evening Jake Shields earned a quick submission victory against Brian Foster, taking him down and moving to mount before taking his back and tapping him out with a rear-naked choke with 2.51mins on the clock.

That makes two finishes inside the first round for Shields in a row since making the switch to World Series Of Fighting after going to the judges scorecards in his previous five fights while still in the UFC.

As a result of his victory Shields has now earned himself a title shot against current WSOF welterweight champion Rousimar Palhares later this year.
