Visa issues are continuing to cause the UFC some headaches with Rhustam Khabilov being the latest fighter who’s had to withdraw from an upcoming fight with Danny Castillo at UFC On FOX 16 in July.
This isn’t the first time the Dhagestani native has had problems getting a Visa, and in fact it actually kept him from fighting Castillo at UFC 182 in January as well.
The good news is that the UFC have found a worthy replacement for him, with veteran campaigner Jim Miller now having been lined up to fight Castillo.
The 31 year-old Miller is going through a rough spot in his career at the moment having back-to-back fights with Donald Cerrone and Beneil Dariush, so this will be an important bout for him and luckily he still has a month to prepare for it.
Castillo, who’s actually four years Miller’s elder, is actually in a similar spot with two losses in a row against Tony Ferguson and Paul Felder and has only won once in his last four Octagon encounters.
Miller Vs Castillo is expected to take place in the preliminary portion of the UFC On FOX 16 card which is set to be headlined by a bantamweight title rematch between TJ Dillashaw and Renan Barao.
