Invicta FC 15 took place last night and we’ve got all the results for you below.
In the main event of the evening Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino successfully defended her featherweight title by knockout with just two seconds remaining in the first round against Daria Ibragimova.
The always dangerous ‘Cyborg’ was thrown off her game earlier in the round as Ibragimova utilized clinch work against the cage and takedown attempts, though she was still landing the better offensive work where possible.
However, when they separated in the final seconds of the round the champion capitalized, flooring her opponent hard with a flush straight right, then finishing her off with a quick burst of ground and pound.
Prior to that strawweight champion Livia Renata Souza also kept a firm grip on her title as she took just 90 seconds to TKO DeAnna Bennett, first hurting her with a kick to the body before sealing the stoppage win with strikes on the mat.
Other notable wins on the night included Colleen Schneider who scraped past Raquel Pa’aluhi by split decision (29-28 x2, 28-29), while earlier in the evening recently released UFC fighter Angela Hill made it clear she’s still a force to be reckoned with by demolishing Alida Gray with a varied offensive assault to win by TKO in just 99 seconds.
