Michael Bisping knocked out Luke Rockhold to become the UFC’s new middleweight champion last night at UFC 199, but the heated rivalrly continued during and after the post-fight press conference.
Bisping and Rockhold, not to mention Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber, traded so many verbal jabs during the post-fight presser that the UFC’s Dave Scholler joked that, “I feel like we’re at the pre-fight press conference again!”
However, the tension ratched up even further when Bisping attempted to shake Rockhold’s hand after the media gathering wrapped up. The official footage cut at that moment, but a video posted by MMAJunkie.com showed that the former champion refused to accept his gesture.
Instead, Rockhold continued to berate Bisping for taunting him in the Octagon following his loss. Not best pleased with that snub, Bisping then unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade at him, as UFC officials tried to calm them both down.
