UFC On ESPN 3 was watched by an average of 1,091,000 viewers on Saturday night.
That was enough for the event to be the top-rated show on cable during it’s time-slot amongst Adults and Men aged 18-49 and 18-34, while only the women’s world cup game in the afternoon drew a bigger audience during the entire day.
Overall the viewer average makes it the second most ‘UFC On ESPN’ event to date, with UFC On ESPN 1 having drawn 1,463,000 viewers back in January, while UFC On ESPN 2 only mustered 828,000 viewers.
Saturday night’s show peaked with 1,247,000 viewers during the main event heavyweight fight between Francis Ngannou and Junior dos Santos.
Earlier in the evening, the UFC On ESPN 3 prelims between 6pm and 9pm drew 553,000 viewers.
Overall these are solid numbers, though perhaps not as strong as might have been expected based on the results of the earliest UFC events on ESPN at the start of the year, with the audiences having generally cooled down a little since then.
